After-School Tutoring

F2A Math Center is packed 1st, 3rd and 4th Saturday mornings
with students working on their math skills, technology skills, and their homework. Licensed and Volunteer tutors help students with math homework assignments and lead students in math infused technology activities.  Data from students' progress will be published in our newsletters.

F2A MC's After-School Tutoring program gives students the confidence and indepence they need to excell in math.  We ask that parents who enroll their children in this program to purchase a yearly membership.

Currently, our After-School Tutoring operates the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Saturday from 9am-12:30pm. The hours will be expanding in the future.  Students must schedule an appointment to be tutored. Parents of students must register their child/ren and purchase a membership in order to participate in the program.

Please note: The membership includes free math tutoring for one year, an NAACP youth membership, a newsletter, and a 10% discount on F2A MC paraphanela.  You may register by filling out the application below or complete the registration in our office. We have some basic expectations for students who attend After-School Tutoring:

  • Student attendance is mandatory—this program is very popular, and we want to serve as many students as possible.

  • Students come with homework or an activity to complete, and are ready to work hard.

  • Students are picked up 1hour after their scheduled tutoring session.
