In-School Projects
Because it can be difficult for teachers and students to make it to our center during the school day, F2A MC brings the program to the schools. Thanks to our dedicated volunteer pool, we are able to bring our tutors into the classroom to provide one-on-one tutoring to the students who are struggling with understanding the objectives being tauht.
Overview
If you are a teacher and your students could use additional one-on-one help with math, F2A MC can release a dynamic group of tutors to your school. In-School projects usually focus on students in grades K-8. Typically we send 4-5 volunteers and work in small groups or one-on-one with your students to help them learn the objective being taught. Volunteers often stay for 1 1/2 hours at a time – at times working with 2 classes back to back. The teacher gives the lesson and the tutors support with all we have to offer.
